Easy Access Plan

All driving is charged by the hour and by the mile.
Rates include gas and insurance.

The Easy Access plan has been created in collaboration with GIAC and the Way2Go transportation education program, and is funded by the federal JARC program via the Tompkins County's Coordinated Plan process. We currently have funding to cover about 50 participants for about one year on the Easy Access plan.

The Easy Access plan is a discounted version of our current It's My Car plan. Our regular Just in Case plan is still a more affordable option for members who only drive around an hour or less per month.

Members on this plan also get our regular discounted Night Rates ($2.50/hour) and Full Day rates($49.50/day) for It's My Car.

Members must be eligible for Medicaid, Family Health Plus, free or reduced price school lunch, or meet the maximum income limit of 150% of the federal poverty level, to sign up for this plan. Only one driver is allowed per plan. This plan is intended for local permanent residents.

To sign up online just select the "It's My Car (monthly)" plan, and use the special promotion code "easyaccess". You can also call us at 607.277.3210, or pick up a paper application at the Greater Ithaca Activities Center (GIAC) downtown. 

It's simplest to pay with a credit or debit card, but we can also take cash, checks and money orders. Call or email us if you have any questions. We have a special account at Alternatives Credit Union downtown where you can make cash/check payments by using a deposit slip. The slips are available at the credit union, or we can send you some if you ask.
